Reunions

Same time, next fall.

Every year, Reunion offers alums a four-day opportunity to reconnect with each other and with faculty members, revisit familiar campus spaces, and experience what it’s like to be part of today’s diverse Mills College legacy alum community. You are invited to return to campus for this event any year you wish, but your class will make a special effort to come together every five years. Sponsored by the Office of Alumnae Relations, activities include:

  • class dinners and luncheons
  • updates from Oakland campus leadership
  • an awards ceremony hosted by the Alumnae Association of Mills College (AAMC)
  • presentations by faculty and alums, such as lectures and writers’ salons
  • performances and exhibitions, including the annual Milhaud tribute concert
  • campus and building tours
  • and many other activities that alums help plan and organize!

Notices about upcoming Reunions are communicated through email and in the Mills Quarterly, with printed brochures mailed to members of the classes celebrating their 5th, 10th, 15th, etc. reunions. Those attendees will have the chance to gather together for a class photo while wearing their class colors—including the Golden Girls commemorating 50 years since graduation.
