Let’s meet up!
Gathering together—whether on our beautiful campus, at various locations around the world, or online—is the cornerstone of the Mills alum experience.
Upcoming events
Events listed on this page are a sampling of campus and regional events of particular interest to Mills alums. They are free unless otherwise noted.
Click the links below for more information. Times listed are local to the location of the event, or in Pacific Time for gatherings held online.
On campus
The performing and visual arts figure prominently into the Mills legacy, and the Oakland campus continues to present dozens of concerts, dance performances, readings, art exhibitions, and artist lectures throughout the academic year that are open to Mills alums and the general public.
• Mills Performing Arts (MPA) brings together the work of several departments to present dance, music, and theater performances as well as art lectures and literary readings. Events may feature faculty, student, and alum performers and composers. Campus venues include Littlefield Concert Hall, Holland Theater, Rothwell Theater, the Greek Theatre, and the Digital Performance Theater, with admission often free or discounted for alums with an AAMC member card.
• The Mills College Art Museum presents exhibitions by both outside artists and students as well as artist lectures. Admission is free.
Other lectures and gatherings occur throughout the academic year as well. Visit Northeastern’s Oakland events calendar for a comprehensive listing of campus events.
Around the world
Officials with the Mills Institute and Mills College at Northeastern make regular visits to clubs and branches, which also host their own gatherings throughout the year. To ensure that you’re notified about these kinds of events close to you, email us at mills.alumnaerelations@northeastern.edu to check that we have your current address.
Virtual
Some classes hold happy hours and mini-reunions over Zoom to bring alums together without leaving home. Click here to find your class secretary to inquire about such events for your graduating year.
Post-merger, the Office of Alumnae Relations has hosted several town halls and forums for alums to learn more about how academic programs are developing. To ensure that you receive invitations to these events, email us at mills.alumnaerelations@northeastern.edu.
Northeastern’s Office of Alumni Relations presents a regular schedule of webinars and lectures; we will notify Mills alums of events of particular interest, and you can find a full calendar at this address.
