About

We are the Office of Alumnae Relations.

As of 2024, there are more than 26,000 alums of Mills College who live in all 50 states and more than 60 countries. Each of them has a unique story about how their paths led them to Mills, as well as how Mills has shaped them as they made their way into the world: una destinatio, viae diversae.

The Office of Alumnae Relations is dedicated to keeping those stories alive by nurturing and strengthening the bonds that Mills alums have with their alma mater—and with each other. We are a legacy department of Mills College that continues to engage in the same activities as before the merger with Northeastern University: planning and staging Reunion every fall, communicating with alums through the (e)ucalyptus newsletter and the Mills Quarterly, collaborating with alum volunteers (including the Alumnae Association of Mills College), and gathering alums together for camaraderie and connection. We also advocate for the celebration of Mills history and the continuation of its mission of education and leadership for women and other marginalized genders through work with the Mills Institute and the growing academic programs of Mills College at Northeastern.

Alumnae Relations is located in Reinhardt Alumnae House on Northeastern’s Oakland campus.
