Kaiser Permanente’s Physician-In-Chief Rita Ng spoke to the campus community about her journey from star pianist to Ms. America winner to rare female cardiac surgeon, as part of the annual Russell Women in Science Leadership Lecture hosted by Mills Institute Executive Director Christie Chung. Later, Dr. Chung, who is also a longtime Mills psychology professor, sat for an interview on how AI and the science of cognitive psychology can advance equity.
